Police issue traffic advisory for the ‘Pushpa-2’ pre-release event today in Hyderabad

The Hyderabad police have issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of the "Pushpa-2" pre-release event scheduled for Monday, from 4 PM to 10 PM, at the Yousufguda Battalion police lines. This highly anticipated event is expected to attract large crowds, potentially leading to moderate traffic congestion around Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Stadium.

To mitigate the inconvenience, police have advised commuters to seek alternative routes. Traffic from the Jubilee Hills check post heading towards Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Stadium will be redirected at Krishna Nagar Junction towards Sri Nagar Colony-Punjagutta. Additionally, vehicles coming from Maitrivanam junction towards Jubilee Hills check post and Madhapur will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti toward RBI Quarters-Krishna Nagar junction-Jubilee Hills check post.

Motorists travelling from Maitrivanam junction to Borabanda bus stop will be rerouted at Savera function hall through Krishnakanth park-GTS Temple-Kalyan Nagar-Mothi Nagar to reach Borabanda bus stop. Traffic heading from Borabanda bus stop towards Maitrivanam junction will be directed through Prime Garden-Kalyan Nagar-Midland Bakery-GTS Colony-Kalyan Nagar Junction-Umesh Chandra statue u-turn-ICICI u-turn-Maitrivanam junction.

For attendees of the event, the police have designated parking areas at Janakamma Thota, Savera function hall, and Mahamood function hall for four-wheelers only. The authorities request all motorists to take note of this advisory and cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police.
